TalkHelper‘s Skype call recorder is an easy to use, clear UIed program that providing many settings, e.g. automatically call recording for audio/video calls, manually call recording for audio/video calls, record Skype video calls in smart mode, record Skype screenshot in silent mode, upon my first test with the several settings above, I encountered a few limitation with the free trial version, you can’t record the local video with audio stream if the remote video is not enabled, but I think that make sense because you don’t want a recording of the local video only, but you may want to do that, however, push the recording button while the local video is not on, it causes the automatically recording function enabling for both audio and video, that’s really great.
Start record a Skype call with TalkHelper
Step 1: Download TalkHelper if you don’t have it installed, you can download it free from the official website, according the vendor, the software is free to use within 7 days, after that, it costs you $49 to purchase a one time license.
Assuming the contact you want to dial is already listed in your Skype contact list, choose the friend’s name and click the “call” button to start, by default, TalkHelper Skype call recorder will automatically start recording the call once it’s established, a pop up dialog will show in the tray bar at the right bottom corner of your desktop indicating the recording is started, you can also check the status bar on TalkHelper to make sure the audio and/or video is recording.
